When you first start training with us we ask that you try to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so that we can get some details from you and explain how the class works. You should wear loose comfortable clothing and remove any jewellery, we always train in bare feet. You only need to buy the proper suit etc. when you feel ready.
Every lesson starts with the whole class lining up and we do a short set of warm up exercises. After we have warmed up the class starts, as a beginner you will learn basic techniques of blocking and striking as well as basic stances. Over the next few months as you get better at the basics you will move on to the more advanced parts of our syllabus.
